> Theory, not fact. Blockspace Value Theory is a living document and an untested thesis. BTP and BYTES are drafts describing things that do not exist.

[BTP](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/btp/), the Blockspace Token Protocol, is a draft, version 0.1 of 2026-07-29, describing a protocol that does not exist. The draft describes an attribution-layer protocol: where other metaprotocols answer who owns which token, BTP would answer which token owns which consumed bytes, and make that ownership transactable. Its first operation, MINT, would issue BYTES against a transaction's bytes.
