The [free-ride index](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/free-ride-index/) is [Book B](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/book-b/) divided by [Book A](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/book-a/): the share of a token's inclusive claim that is its own measured structure. The rest rode on transactions that were happening anyway. In the July 2026 measurement run, Open Assets measured 0.72, and CoinSpark's regimes fell from 1.00 to 0.09.
