# Data the other sites publish

The data files and feeds of blockspacelabs.com, blockspace.news, blockspace.markets and the block.space buy board, counters.gallery and scribb.it: what each holds, where it comes from, and a real reading.

URL: https://blockspace.wiki/data/other-sites-data/

Besides [the block.space API](/data/block-space-api/), several Blockspace Holdings sites publish their figures as files. They are static sites. Each one rebuilds its pages and data from [Blockspace Holdings' node and indexers](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/blockspace-holdings-node-and-indexers/) and from block.space's public API, and each figure carries its own "as of". A site's build scripts and hidden paths are never served.

The examples were read on 2026-10-20 between 09:45 and 09:50 UTC; the public address is shown.

## blockspacelabs.com: facts.json

`https://blockspacelabs.com/data/facts.json` holds every live figure on the [Blockspace Labs](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/blockspace-labs/) page. It is rebuilt hourly from the node's mempool and network policy, ord's `/status`, block.space's API and the buy board. A source that fails keeps its last reading with its own `as_of`. Top-level keys: `blockspace`, `buy`, `ord`, `relay`, `built_at`. Trimmed, as built at 09:07 UTC:

## blockspace.news: daily snapshots and the feed

blockspace.news saves one snapshot of block.space's public API a day at 00:15 UTC and renders each [edition](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/edition/) as the difference from the day before. A rewound or rewritten set of books is reported as "no comparison", never as a negative.

- `https://blockspace.news/data/<YYYY-MM-DD>.json`: the day's snapshot, with `taken_at`, `meter`, `ledger`, `tokens`, `ops`, `protocols` (for `protocols_book` `a`), and the top 100 of the largest inscriptions and heaviest tokens boards, each with its own `as_of` block. Snapshots exist for 2026-10-19 and 2026-10-20.
- `https://blockspace.news/feed.xml`: an Atom feed, one entry per edition.
- `https://blockspace.news/<YYYY-MM-DD>/` and `/archive/`: the editions as pages.

From `https://blockspace.news/data/2026-10-20.json`, trimmed:

```json
{
  "taken_at": "2026-10-20T00:15:12Z",
              "rows": ["…"]}
}
```

The feed's newest entry is "Edition of Tuesday 20 October 2026", summarised "67 blocks, 115 MB of blockspace; rune added the most attributed blockspace".

## blockspace.markets and the buy board

blockspace.markets is a static page rebuilt every 10 minutes from [the buy board](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/buy-board/). It publishes no data file of its own. Its data is the board's API, served by block.space under `/buy/`:

- `https://block.space/buy/api/board`: listings ranked by price per kilobyte, `{rows, total, denom}`;
- `https://block.space/buy/api/status`: the venue syncs, one row per venue run.

The first row of the board, read at 09:46 UTC, trimmed:

```json
{
  "total": 167648, "denom": "sats_per_kb",
  "rows": [{"category": "inscription", "venue": "gamma", "price_sats": 1000, "quantity": "1",
            "grade": "ask", "bytes": 26108, "vbytes": 6577, "book": "A",
            "denominator_source": "bti-book:964799",
            "sats_per_kb": 38.30243603493182, "sats_per_kvb": 152.0450053215752,
            "settlement_kind": "psbt"}]
}
```

`bytes` is the asset's blockspace in the named book, read at the height in `denominator_source`; `sats_per_kb` is the price over those bytes ([sats per kB](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/sats-per-kb/)). The board also takes `POST` requests for its wallet buy flow; those are not data endpoints.

## counters.gallery: /status and the counter API

The Counters server is "the web explorer + read-only JSON API". Its `/status` names the index height and the build. `https://counters.gallery/status`, read at 09:47 UTC:

```json
{"indexed": 972303, "count": 554, "genesis": 0, "version": "11.5.0", "commit": "dev",
 "updated": null, "preview_origin": null}
```

`version` mirrors the Counterparty Core release the build targets (11.5 here). `count` is the number of [counters](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/counter/) indexed. The server's code also answers `/counters` (a list, with paging and filters), `/counter/<number or id>`, `/facets`, `/search` and `/block/<height>` with JSON. From `https://counters.gallery/counter/0`, trimmed:

```json
{"number": 0, "id": "efeb4f6ad804a6716334de029788a1002933325f86c1e99132b32347ac6d7503i0",
 "asset": "XDUALS", "kind": "issuance", "content_type": "text/plain", "size": 8,
 "envelope": "counterparty/ord", "original": true, "block": 902005}
```

The README documents `/status` only; the other routes are read from the code and may change without notice.

## scribb.it: facts.json (coming soon)

The [Scribbit](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/scribbit/) site is coming soon as of 2026-10-20. Once its domain is public it will serve `https://scribb.it/facts.json`: every figure on the site with its source, plus its glossary. The current file has the keys `built_at`, `fees` (from explore.block.space's fee API, in sat/vB), `ord` (from ord's `/status`), `example` (one PDF inscription with its fee, size and Book A, B and C bytes), `largest` (the largest inscription), `policy` (Bitcoin Core 28.2.0's standard transaction weight, 400,000, and script element size, 520), `glossary` and `note`. Each block names its own `source`. As built at 09:36 UTC its fee block read, without the source line:

```json
{"as_of": "2026-10-20T09:36:44Z", "unit": "sat/vB",
 "economy": 1, "hour": 1, "fastest": 2, "next_block_median": 1.03}
```
