# Errata

Corrections to the wiki, dated, never silently erased.

When a page is corrected, the correction is listed here with its date and the page it changed. The page's own history is in the repository.

- 2026-10-20 /projects/spaceblocks.art/: The FAQ said Space Blocks fills 1,047,584 of the 1,048,576 bytes of a 1 MB block. 1,048,576 bytes is 1 MiB, the site's own measure; by consensus a block is limited by [[block weight]], and a block of non-witness bytes alone tops out at 1,000,000 bytes. The answer now says so.
- 2026-08-05 /protocols/alkanes/: Alkanes' first message on mainnet runs at block 880,004, four blocks after alkanes activates at 880,000. An earlier figure of 897,413 marked where an explorer had been pointed, not where alkanes starts; it was 17,409 blocks late.
- 2026-10-19 /glossary/ordinal-sats/: block.space's name for the sat family is Ordinal Sats. Until 2026-10-19 it read "Individual Sats". Only the label changed: the key stays `sat` in every URL, API field and database row.
- 2026-10-19 /glossary/five-colour-family-key/: block.space's colour key gives five families their own colour and every other family a grey Other. It replaces a first key that gave eight families their own hues; in a stacked bar some neighbours, such as BRC-20 and ARC-20, were too close to tell apart.
- 2026-10-20 /glossary/five-colour-family-key/: The leaderboard's composition bars, and the key row above the table, run largest family first. Before 2026-10-20 the bars kept one fixed family order on every row.
- 2026-10-20 /glossary/blockspace-holdings/: The company's name is Blockspace Holdings. Pages published before 2026-10-20 used an older form of the name.
- 2026-10-20 /projects/degent.club/: degent.club's 10,000 is the size of the collection when fully minted, not a count of Degents that exist; the live count is {{degent.inscribed}} inscribed ({{asof:degent}}). The old site's figure of 4,027 minted disagreed with the collection list.
