# BVT

Blockspace Value Theory, a living document and an untested thesis (version 3.0, July 2026). It proposes that blockspace tokens "derive monetary value from the scarce resource they permanently consume": Bitcoin blockspace. It holds that they form one commodity market denominated in kilobytes, with a price floor. The text itself says several of its central claims are untested.
