# frame and placard

URL: https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/frame-and-placard/

The ornamental gold picture frame and the placard reading `DEGEN`, `DEGENT` or `REGEN` that every [Degent](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/degent/) carries. The club's minting rules require it ("Must be framed and include a placard"), and the [Degent mint](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/degent-mint/)'s automated art review checks it. As a visual design and trade dress it is not licensed (all rights reserved), even where the code that draws it is Apache-2.0.
