# sat name

URL: https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/sat-name/

An inscription that names a sat. BTI treats the name as a label on the inscribed sat, not a separately transferable token. The opi-sns adapter catalogues these sats, and block.space shows them as the "Sat names" sub-item of Ordinal Sats.
