## What it is

In Blockspace Holdings' words (2026-10-20), [Litepedia](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/litepedia/) is "a litecoin
wikipedia project where we will upload wikipedia to litecoin and let people
pay LTC to make edits (while having a robust editing system)". Its card
reads: "Wikipedia on Litecoin. The encyclopedia uploaded to Litecoin, where
anyone can pay LTC to make an edit, with a robust editing system." LTC is
Litecoin's coin. litepedia.space belongs to the research group, beside
[Blockspace Labs](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/blockspace-labs/) and blockspace.to, under [Blockspace Holdings](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/blockspace-holdings/).

## Status

Coming soon (as of 2026-10-20). litepedia.space serves a "Coming soon"
page until its own site is built.

## How it works

Not yet built. The aim is to put the encyclopedia on Litecoin, where an
edit is paid for in LTC. That needs a Litecoin node and an inscription
indexer for Litecoin. Blockspace Holdings runs no Litecoin node as of
2026-10-20. Blockspace Labs' Litecoin and Dogecoin blockspace study covers
the same ground.
