**Status on [blockspacelabs.com](https://blockspacelabs.com): Live, a product.** Its card is the second in the Live group.

## What it is

[blockspace.to](/projects/blockspace.to/) is, in the Labs site's words, "an ord explorer and indexer that also tracks which sats have been spent". It is "a Blockspace Labs product, running a fork of ord with `--index-spent-sats`". Its line on block.space/projects reads: "Tracks spent sats. A Blockspace Labs product."

[ord](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/ord/) is the indexer and explorer for ordinal inscriptions. The fork adds [spent sats](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/spent-sats/): it keeps the sat ranges of outputs that have been spent, not only of the outputs that exist now. The [spent sats](/concepts/spent-sats/) page explains what that adds. It indexes mainnet, and has been live at https://blockspace.to since 2026-10-20 08:32 UTC.

## What the card shows

The card shows the chain, the block the index has reached and its count of inscriptions. In the reading of 2026-10-20 09:07:08 UTC it was on mainnet, indexed to block 972,298, with 128,169,266 inscriptions.

The wiki's own reading of the same server, as of block 972,320, 2026-10-20 12:17:53 UTC: indexed to block 972,320, with 128,170,184 inscriptions (127,698,141 blessed and 472,043 [cursed](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/cursed-inscription/)) and 216,423 runes.

## Related research

The Research card [inscription permanence](/research/inscription-permanence/) uses blockspace.to's spent sats to follow how often inscribed sats are spent or move. The [lost sats](/research/lost-sats/) and [cursed inscriptions](/research/cursed-inscriptions/) cards read the same ord index.
