**Status on [blockspacelabs.com](https://blockspacelabs.com): Live**, the fifth card in the Live group.

## What it is

The Labs site describes it as "the holders of every token's bytes, ranked by address. It powers the block.space leaderboard." Each token is backed by the bytes BTI attributes to it. This project follows each token to the addresses that hold it, and adds up the bytes behind each address's tokens. The holdings are kept in [the holders appendix](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/the-appendix/), which is updated block by block.

The [holders](/concepts/holders/) page explains how holdings are measured and which protocols are covered. The result is [the leaderboard](https://blockspace.wiki/glossary/the-leaderboard/): every address ranked by the blockspace its tokens are backed by.
