A cursed inscription is one that ord numbers apart from the blessed inscriptions, with a negative number. blockspace.to's ord counts 472,043 cursed and 127,698,141 blessed (as of block 972,320, 2026-10-20 12:17:53 UTC). A check of 2026-10-19 found that 582 of the 100,000 largest inscriptions had no sat binding in BTI, and that they were cursed numbers. A Labs study covers both.
