Collections

NFT collections on Bitcoin, ranked by the blockspace their members consumed, each with its membership source: chain, index or asserted.

A collection on block.space is a set of NFTs with a membership source. block.space/collections ranks them by blockspace, the way every board does: by Book A by default, with the same book (A, B, C) and unit toggles, shown in MB. A collection's bytes are the sum of its members' books, as of the books height. Fungible tokens are left out, even when they are grouped (BRC-20 and TAP deploy parents, for example).

Where membership comes from #

Every row says how its members were found, its provenance:

provenance what it is examples
chain written on Bitcoin itself Ordinals parent and child inscriptions; SRC-101 roots
index defined by a protocol's own index Atomicals containers; Counterparty subasset families
asserted a published list, named with its source the Degent Club collection list

An asserted list is never merged with a chain group. Many well-known collections have no on-chain parent at all; they enter only as asserted lists, each named with its source.

Names #

A chain group is named by its parent's own title, or else "Children of #". The others take their subasset family name, container name or list name. A name with no source shows the parent's number.

What the board shows #

Each row has its rank, a square (the parent's thumbnail or the first member's), the name, the family, the provenance, the member count, the bytes under the chosen book, and its share of collected NFT blockspace. Each collection has a detail page with its members by size and the top holders of its bytes, from the holders appendix.

Figures #

As of the board's build on 2026-10-20 (books at block 972,299), the largest collection by Book A is the Degents of degent.club, an asserted list: 4,112 members, 1,518.9 MB in Book A, 27.7 % of the collected NFT blockspace on the board. The data behind the board counted 81,567 collections, with 3,354,742 members.
